This Sacred Hearts Pendant is cast from an original antique and set with a ruby. The Sacred Heart has long been a symbol of Divine love. Above the sacred hearts on the face of the medallion is the Latin inscription: ignem vein mittere in terrah, which translates to "I have come to set the world on fire." On the back of the medallion is Jesus carrying the cross and the Latin inscription: onus meum leve, which translates to "My burden is light." This medallion is a meaningful token for both men and women.
